The first Enlighten Adelaide Festival was held on Sunday 13 February 2011 in the beautiful leafy grounds of historic Cummins House, Novar Gardens.
The objective of this festival is to increase awareness of all things natural and organic and maintain a healthy lifestyle by choosing what we eat, how we exercise and what we do in our leisure time to relax and wind down.
Local South Australian businesses including natural therapists, healers, practitioners, intuitive readers, organic produce, organic wine, natural skincare and hair care products, jewellery, and energy efficiency, showcased their products in an outdoor market-style environment, emphasising the ‘nature’ aspect of the festival.
There were free Come and Try Activities, workshops and demonstrations held throughout the day including Yoga, Singing Bowls, Reiki, Tarot Readings, Chanting, and more.
